PURITY

Purity is the channel to the soul

Purity is the channel to the soul

Everybody is adorned with two jewels
The eyes, scintillating with light
Keep these channels of light polished with the cloth of purity
That they may truly be windows to the soul
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. (Matthew 6:22 KJV)

FREE WILL

Everything we have in this life is a gift from God. There is nothing we can call truly ours except one : our free will, our power of CHOICE. Circumstances are presented to us which are not of our own making, the only freedom we have when faced with them is the freedom of choice. That is the revelation. We could be penniless, but we will never be choice-less. In that one attribute, we are as free as the gods. Free will is our movement through life : the sprouting of our choices. The life we have right at this moment is a conglomerate of all our choices up to this moment. In that sense we cannot blame God for anything, except maybe for making us hapless actors in His drama of life. But then, how does one create even a mundane drama without actors. The show must to go on.

ACTION

When we act rightly, God is doing (or being) through the righteousness of our souls. There is no unrighteousness in the soul, as this is the image of God within us – the son of God. Righteousness is God’s Way.
When we act wrongly, we dislodge God from the driver’s seat through our free will and He then acts through the opaqueness of our egos – the soul enshrouded by the five fallible (ignorant or blind) senses – the son of man.
In all things however, He is the Sole Doer, positively through our souls (a high vibration), and negatively through our egos (a low vibration).
Be an instrument of His Light.
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7 KJV)

You must be thinking: If He is the Doer, I am scot free! But who is the I? His ‘magical disguise’; The Veil, of the Sole Consciousness being separate and many – the ego.
I am so angry. No, the ego is angry that you did not meet its desires. You can never be angry. Train it to calm its mercurial emotions.
I am so hungry. No, the ego has become addicted to the sugar roller coaster. You can never be hungry, because you are sustained by the Word, whether it knows it or not. It is the Word that is the germ of plant life and all that sustains us. It is the Word that is the energy in the food and the sun. It is the Word that digests the food. Without the Word, we could eat all we wanted; be very full, but also very dead and very constipated. But train the ego to like a Low Glycaemic Diet until it can remember that man does not live by bread alone.
I do not like so and so. No, if the ego had its way; thankfully it doesn’t, the world would be all Sameness. You have no likes or dislikes. Train it to accept what Life puts on the table and to deal with it calmly. The world is unfolding as it should. It is us who have been given dominion over it that are errant, and therefore attract the circumstances we find ourselves in. The ego should change!
I will change, I can change. Now, we are talking!

We (the individualized consciousnesses) are the spark of that reasoning Intellect which is behind this awesome creation, lets call it the God Spark. We therefore have to render an account of how we use it, through a Freewill Bank Account called Karma, which is maintained in the Etheric Vault, for individuals, nations and worlds. This Account can either be in the red (overdrawn or having very little balance) or in the black (having a positive balance). Animals render no account for their actions, because they have no free will and their intellect is instinctual (they can’t write books, create wars or think about God). Their consciousness lacks the reasoning germ, which renders it neutral as there is no choice mechanism. Would you rather be an animal? Naaaah! They are bound by the consciousness with which they have been endowed, so the Creator does not judge them.

The ego (Bhishma) lies subdued by the training of the soul (Arjuna) or Soul over mind but war between these two is inevitable

The ego (Bhishma) lies subdued by the training of the soul (Arjuna) or Soul over mind but war between these two is inevitable

However, as beings created in God’s image, we have a Boundless Consciousness, Unlimited. Thus, God is acting in us through our intellect and the thing that magnetizes that intellect positively (tending towards God and His Ways) or negatively (tending towards man and his ways, the Way of the Senses) is our free will ability to act rightly or wrongly. His image in us is that intellect and the exercise of our free will towards its two poles: positive (or Godly) and negative (or Evil). Our actions are affirmations of our habits; for good or for ill, tending towards the positive or the negative. That’s why we need to incessantly train that ego, until it lies supinely on a bed of arrows of discipline. Then, the only Habit it will wear will be the Divine Habit.

How do we change our habits and therefore our actions for the better? Through affirmations. Affirmations are a way of changing our consciousness, our thoughts polarity. Our thoughts are either of positive or negative polarity: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. (Proverbs 23:7 KJV). When we are filled with positivity, we attract the light and joyous circumstances. When we are filled with negativity, we attract darkness and unhappy circumstances. Lets affirm what we want to be through our meditations, through our thoughts and through our actions. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21 KJV). Just in case this sounds a bit far-fetched, just remember the battle of Kurushetra that these protagonists were involved in is an allegory for the daily battle of life, and we are either playing Bhishma or Arjuna at any particular time, but the conquest of the soul is just a matter of time, but we have to create the right conditions.

EASTER SUNRISE

imageThose who walk on fire without any bodily harm to them are vibrating at a higher frequency than the vibration of fire. Though their bodies may look solid and mutable, they have the inner protection of higher vibration and immutability. They bend the atoms, and the atoms obey them. They have transcended the first three elements that make creation: Earth, Water and Fire. Only those who can change their vibration at will should attempt to walk on fire. These are signs of the soul’s resurrection:
And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them. And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: (Luke 24:36-46 KJV)

O DIVINE MOTHER

O Divine Mother
If I see Thee begging
May I offer Thee alms.
If I see Thee hungry
May I feed Thee.
If I see Thee naked and destitute
May I clothe Thee.
If I see Thee sad and unhappy,
May I be the cause of Thy joy.
If I see Thee wailing in the little baby
May I give Thee comfort.
If I see Thee seeking love in the little child
May I give Thee my love.
If I see Thee erring
May I only correct gently.
If I see Thee being persecuted
May I stand up for Thee.
In work
May I offer Thee all my concentration.
In devotion
May I surrender my mind to Thee.

DEATH

The real sweet death does not have to await our bodies putting on the mask of age. The real sweet death will happen now, if we will so. For the real sweet death is but dying to our bad habits and surrendering to God. If we have not achieved this by the time of physical death, then death is an unpleasant event, better avoided. But how does one avoid an inevitability! By ascending. By going back home from this land of dreams.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1 Corinthians 15:54, 55 KJV)

THE CROSS-ROADS

The lesson to be learnt from Judas Iscariot’s failure even though he was among the chosen of Christ, is that our free will is paramount. We must return to God willingly, and not even a thousand Christs, can change the fact of the immutability of our freewill. Of course, when we want to go back to God but are having difficulties, we wish this were not true, but free will means our willingness inspite of the greatest temptations. Our willingness must trample upon all temptations that maybe put upon our path: And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. (Matthew 19:16, 17, 20-22 KJV). Wow, right there was an offer on the table: Eternal Life for relinquishing temporal concerns. It is a test we face every day, with the same tragic results. That rich young man (the ageless soul) is you and me. So, what’s my choice today? A pregnant question.
